Lebron Jamess Son Suffers Cardiac Arrest

It appears he’s been revived but this is serious shit. Came up as a TMZ alert but the story isn’t posted with a usable link. I’ll keep track and post it when it’s available.

LeBron can afford the bail. And it never would have happened had he been at UCLA.

by Anonymousreply 2July 25, 2023 3:44 PM

A lot of pressure playing basketball in Dad's shadow. Maybe he should be a painter or a stockbroker.

by Anonymousreply 3July 25, 2023 3:45 PM

Okay, r2 just made me spit out my coffee. At least I hope that was the intent.

by Anonymousreply 4July 25, 2023 3:45 PM

R4 you are easily amused. It was not funny and a little suspect

by Anonymousreply 5July 25, 2023 3:47 PM

I’ve used his paper towels for years.

by Anonymousreply 8July 25, 2023 4:02 PM

Eh. R7, that’s about a 5.5 on a scale of 10. You need to step up your game.

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital," according to a family statement.

"He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU. We ask for respect and privacy for the James family and we will update media when there is more information. LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

by Anonymousreply 12July 25, 2023 4:28 PM

R11 smh @ Idiocracy come to life.

by Anonymousreply 13July 25, 2023 4:28 PM

There's more of this happening in professional sports. Look at what happened to Christian Eriksen and Damar Hamlin. Sometimes the body just says "no"

by Anonymousreply 14July 25, 2023 4:31 PM

r14 especially in the heat.

by Anonymousreply 15July 25, 2023 4:33 PM

I’m not an anti vaxxer you stupid bitch. Some of you seem to think any analysis of the vaccine means one is totally against the the vaccine as a measure against the pandemic. You brain dead Kool aid drinkers need to realize two things can be true at one time. The vaccine can serve a greater good while also making healthy young adults susceptible more susceptible to strokes and sudden deaths. Something is noticeable. These are young healthy adults often athletes having heart attacks out of nowhere.

by Anonymousreply 16July 25, 2023 4:54 PM

[quote]These are young healthy adults often athletes having heart attacks out of nowhere.

Which has been the case for hundreds of years before the covid vaccine, or any vaccine, for that matte.r

by Anonymousreply 17July 25, 2023 4:55 PM

R17 not like this. Something’s up. Anecdotal evidence is starting to add up and research to back it.

by Anonymousreply 18July 25, 2023 4:56 PM

Please provide a link to said research, R18.

by Anonymousreply 19July 25, 2023 4:57 PM

R16 suuuurrreee you’re not an anti-vaxxed. Yup. I believe it. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

by Anonymousreply 20July 25, 2023 4:58 PM

CLAIM: Two researchers found that more than 1,500 athletes have suffered cardiac arrest since COVID-19 vaccinations began, compared to a previous average of 29 athletes per year, suggesting the vaccines are causing a dramatic rise in such cardiac issues.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False.

^ “anti-vaxxer” @ my post at r20.

by Anonymousreply 22July 25, 2023 5:02 PM

R20 I’m vaccinated. And I don’t have time to do people’s homework for them. Look it up yourself.

by Anonymousreply 23July 25, 2023 5:03 PM

Isn't COVID itself a big risk factor for heart issues?

Anyway, if he has to stop playing, at least he'll be OK financially.

by Anonymousreply 24July 25, 2023 5:04 PM

R23, I was just going to post that you need to provide the evidence for such an outlandish claim, and NOT tell us to do our own research. You just proved my point—no evidence exists. And suuuuurrreee, you’re vaccinated. Yup. I believe it. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

by Anonymousreply 25July 25, 2023 5:05 PM

[quote]And I don’t have time to do people’s homework for them. Look it up yourself.

Done. See R21.

by Anonymousreply 26July 25, 2023 5:05 PM

My position requires I be vaccinated which has now been ruled unconstitutional.

by Anonymousreply 27July 25, 2023 5:18 PM

FYI the statistics for any cardiac issues for unvaccinated younger adults that were exposed to COVID versus those who received the COVID vaccine are about 8 to 1.

by Anonymousreply 28July 25, 2023 5:20 PM

I don't know how many people were at that practice between players, coaches, trainers, equipment managers, etc....but given how fast news travels these days (especially bad news), it's pretty amazing that this was kept under wraps for nearly 24 hours.

by Anonymousreply 29July 25, 2023 6:21 PM

Although the UCLA shot was nasty, this is the second year in a row that a USC freshman player suffered cardiac arrest during the summer. Last year was Vince Iwuchukwu. As such, the trainers and doctors knew how to treat Bronny.

by Anonymousreply 31July 25, 2023 6:37 PM

Stable does not mean out of the woods

by Anonymousreply 32July 25, 2023 7:48 PM

I generally object to the use of the word "cunt"....but I can't stop thinking about that fucking CUNT in Indianapolis who screamed "I hope Bronny dies!" at Lebron from her courtside seat, a couple years ago. And then had the nerve to make an exaggerated "boo-hoo" face when ejected from the arena. I wonder what that disgusting excuse for a human being is up to today? And if she has children, or plans to?

by Anonymousreply 34July 25, 2023 9:58 PM

That was beyond disgusting.

by Anonymousreply 35July 25, 2023 10:21 PM

Any potshot at U$C is a good shot.

by Anonymousreply 36July 25, 2023 10:39 PM

Grace, you know I don't follow the volleyball.

by Anonymousreply 37July 25, 2023 10:53 PM

Lucky for Bronny he looks like his mom!

by Anonymousreply 38July 25, 2023 11:27 PM

"These are young healthy adults often athletes having heart attacks out of nowhere."

Well if you're talking about fit young athletes, the first place to look at a cause for mysterious heart attacks and other sudden deaths would be PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS, YOU FUCKING VACCINE-OBSESSED IDIOT!!

And then look at recreational drugs, which this kid certainly would have been able to afford.

by Anonymousreply 39July 26, 2023 6:20 AM

He was unconscious and taken to the hospital in an ambulance via a Code 3 emergency. This is pretty shocking. How scary for LeBron and his wife. No one would expect their 18-year-old to have a heart attack.

by Anonymousreply 40July 26, 2023 10:31 AM

In 2018, Shareef O'Neal (Shaq's son & a good friend of Bronny's) complained to UCLA athletic trainers/team doctors that he felt "funny", or not-quite-right, during his first few practices as a freshman. Team doctors jumped on it immediately, fitting him with a heart-monitor during subsequent workouts. He was ultimately diagnosed with an anomalous coronary artery -- a congenital heart defect that caused an artery to grow in the wrong place (yeesh!) -- and required open-heart surgery to correct it.

Shareef was very fortunate that it was discovered before something catastrophic happened. He was also very wise to pipe-up & say something, instead of trying to push-through, or "tough it out" (as young athletes will often do), for fear of losing a spot in the rotation, etc.

Will He play basketball again?

by Anonymousreply 45July 27, 2023 2:53 AM

R45 will he actually attend and graduate from U$C? He won’t.

R46 Does U$C care? It doesn’t.

by Anonymousreply 47July 27, 2023 2:59 AM

[Quote] I’m vaccinated. And I don’t have time to do people’s homework for them. Look it up yourself.

Would I need a colonoscope to find that information?

by Anonymousreply 49July 27, 2023 3:13 AM

Bronny has been discharged from the hospital.👍

by Anonymousreply 51July 28, 2023 1:21 AM

People with heart attacks don't get discharged from the hospital this quickly.

People who've OD'd do.

by Anonymousreply 52July 28, 2023 1:27 AM

That does seem incredibly fast for some who went into cardiac arrest.

by Anonymousreply 53July 28, 2023 1:50 AM

R52, how do you know? Are you in the field of medicine?

by Anonymousreply 54July 28, 2023 2:16 AM

Any doctors here who can share any insights? Damar Hamlin was in the hospital for a week and in an induced coma at least for the first few days. He is only a few years older. So… I wonder if it could have been an OD. I hadn’t considered it, I just figured he was dehydrated or had a genetic condition.

by Anonymousreply 55July 28, 2023 2:20 AM

R52 is a Ucla fan. Or is he a Stanford fan? Or is he a Berkeley fan?

Only his hairdresser knows for sure!

by Anonymousreply 56July 28, 2023 2:23 AM

That’s the every celeb hospitalized is a OD JUNKIE troll. Yawn.

by Anonymousreply 59July 28, 2023 3:29 AM

damn he's way more handsome than dad

by Anonymousreply 60July 28, 2023 11:32 AM

[quote]Bronny has been discharged from the hospital.

Good news for the family. Sounds like it was a very good thing there were medical personnel at the practice gym. The parents are probably still rattled inside.

by Anonymousreply 61July 28, 2023 1:39 PM

R60 Ain’t that the truth. Lebron looked like he was 40 when he was 18 yrs old.

by Anonymousreply 62July 28, 2023 2:05 PM

Lebron resembles a gorilla 🦍

by Anonymousreply 63July 29, 2023 8:01 AM

R63 is pathetic, useless, racist TWAT. Sorry, there are no emojis for that.

But there are for "Shithead" -- 💩 🤕

by Anonymousreply 64July 29, 2023 10:09 AM

I'm I the only one who doesn't get at least half the emoji used?

by Anonymousreply 65July 29, 2023 5:05 PM

Bronny James has been diagnosed with an "anatomically & functionally significant" congenital -- but correctable -- heart defect.
